Abstract
PEPTÍDEOS SINTÉTICOS QUE EXIBEM ATIVIDADE INIBIDORA CONTRA INVASÃO DE CÂNCER E METÁSTASES". A presente invenção se relaciona a peptídeos sintéticos que exibem atividade inibidora contra a invasão de câncer e metástases. Os peptídeos da invenção compreendem o peptídeo PRKPKWDK (ID. DE SEQ.:2) que corresponde aos aminoácidos de 85 a 92 da metaloproteinase da matriz (MMP-2), e fragmentos, análogos e homólogos da ID. DE SEQ. :2. A invenção também se relaciona aos usos de tais peptídeos como inibidores da invasão de câncer e metástases humanas e ainda ao seu uso terapêutico na prevenção e tratamento de câncer e outras condições patológicas relacionadas à degradação da matriz extracelular por MMPS.
