Abstract

"PRODUÇÃO DE ALFA-CETO BUTIRATO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de obtenção de aceto-butirato através de bioconversão. A molécula é acumulada no meio e é adequada para processamento subseqüente para ingredientes alimentícios, tais como aromas de excelente nota. Uma cepa adequada é uma cepa de Neurospora crassa ilv-3 mutante natural, que é capaz de acumular -cetobutirato no meio de fermentação. Ao ajustar parâmetros de meio específico, foram acumulados até 8 g/l de meio de -ceto-butirato.
