Abstract
"PROCESSO E MECANISMO PARA CRISTALIZAÇÃO DE TEREFTALATO DE POLITRIMETILENO (PTT)". É divulgado um processo para reduzir a auto-aderência dos péletes de tereftalato de politrimetileno, que pode ser realizado de uma maneira contínua ou de batelada compreendendo as etapas de: a) introduzir os péletes de tereftalato de politrimetileno tendo uma viscosidade intrínseca de pelo menos 0,4 dl/g em um tubo contendo um líquido que se move através do tubo, por meio do qual fazendo com que os péletes se movam através do tubo com o líquido; b) ajustar a temperatura dos péletes e do líquido a uma temperatura de 50 à 95 C durante um tempo suficiente para induzir um grau de cristalinidade de pelo menos 35% nos péletes; e c) separar os péletes do líquido.
