A resistência em fusão e a razão de índice de fusão de poliolefinas à base de etileno são controladas pelo padrão de substituição de alquila inferior dos ligantes de ciclopentadienila ligados em ponte de compostos precursores de catalisadores de polimerização metaloceno.
