"COMPOSTOS BIS-NAFTOPIRANO FOTOCRÔMICOS E PROCESSOS PARA SUA FABRICAÇÃO". A invenção refere-se a compostos bis-naftopirano fotocrômicos da fórmula (I), bem como processos para sua fabricação e uso. Os compostos bis-naftopirano da invenção exibem uma ampla faixa de cores, isto é, do rosa ao púrpura ao cinza escuro, mediante ativação por uma fonte de luz UV. Adicionalmente, os compostos bis-naftopirano da presente invenção exibem uma ampla capacidade de coloração, resposta rápida a alteração de cor em ativação e retorno à cor original e boa resistência à fadiga.
