Abstract
"ADMINISTRAÇÃO TRANSDÉRMICA DE UM ÉSTER DE ENALAPRIL". A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição dérmica compreendendo éster de etila de enalapril ou outra pró-droga correspondendo a uma forma farmaceuticamente ativa de um inibidor de ACE em uma quantidade correspondendo a uma quantidade terapeuticamente eficaz de enalaprilat (ou outra forma farmaceuticamente ativa de enalapril) ou forma farmaceuticamente ativa do inibidor de ACE em mistura com um veículo farmaceuticamente aceitável. Em uma modalidade preferida, o veículo é uma matriz adesiva sensível à pressão compreendendo um polímero ou mistura de polímero. A composição dérmica é aplicada em um método para aumentar substancialmente o fluxo de enalaprilat através da pele de um ser humano ou um animal mantendo-se a composição dérmica em contato com a pele.
