Abstract

"TELA TÉRMICA PARA PISTÃO DE FREIO E ATUADOR DE FREIO INCORPORANDO A MESMA". A presente invenção se refere a uma proteção contra calor (10) para um pistão de freio (12) compreende um anel (14) de material termo-isolante. O anel (14) inclui uma parede circunferencial radialmente interna (20), uma parede circunferencial radialmente externa (22) e, em uma terminação axial (24), uma superfície protetora anular plana (26) que se estende entre a parede interna (20) e a parede externa (22). Um rebordo (28) se estende radialmente em direção ao interior da superfície interna da parede (20). O rebordo (28) se encaixa em uma ranhura (30) formada ao redor da parede circunferencial externa (16) do pistão 12 que pode ser desfeita. Quando assim acoplado, a superfície protetora anular plana (26) está co-planar com uma superfície anular de pistão (52) formada em uma extremidade aberta do pistão (12).
