Abstract
"NEGRO-DE-FUMO DE SUPERFÍCIE MODIFICADA". A presente invenção fornece um negro-de-fumo de superfície modificada e método para produção. O negro-de-fumo de superfície modificada é produzido reagindo-se o carbono auto-dispersante ou oxidado com um composto de indução estérica através de um intermediário de haleto de ácido orgânico. Os compostos de indução estérica são substancialmente solúveis nos componentes orgânicos de uma composição de tinta e são reativos com um haleto de ácido orgânico. A estabilidade estérica e eletrostática são fornecidas pelo negro-de-fumo de superfície modificada. O negro-de-fumo de superfície modificada exibe solubilidade em veículos orgânicos e aquosos e exibe excelente resistência à coagulação em uma impressora de jato de tinta.
