É descrito um conjunto de cateter tendo asas se estendendo a partir do adaptador de cateter onde cada uma das asas inclui um elemento de reforço localizado na mesma. Cada um dos elementos de reforço pode também definir um meio para manter a posição dos elementos de reforço durante o processo de moldagem para assegurar que o elemento de reforço está apropriadamente localizado na asa.
