"MÉTODOS PARA TRATAR UMA CONDIÇÃO MÉDICA QUE ENVOLVE A ANGIOGÊNESE EM UM PACIENTE, PARA INIBIR A VASCULARIZAÇÃO DE CÉLULAS ENDOTELIAIS, E PARA TRATAR CÂNCER EM UM MAMÍFERO". Métodos para inibir a anglogenese são divulgados e compreendem a administração de oleouropeína e os produtos da sua hidrólise em quantidades terapeuticamente eficazes. Os métodos e composições da presente invenção são particularmente eficazes em inibir a vascularização de células endoteliais e podem ser utilizados para tratar uma ampla variedade de cânceres, doenças oculares e condições inflamatórias.
