Abstract
MÃTODO PARA FABRICAR E USAR UM ADITIVO MULTIFUNCIONAL. Aditivos úteis para reduzir o coeficiente de atrito em lubrificantes, graxas ou formulações cosméticas, e úteis como um substituto para talco e como um material antinévoa são obtidos submetendo um material vegetal natural tal como algodão, a uma dosagem de radiação de uma fonte de feixe eletrônico. O material vegetal irradiado é subsequentemente fragmentado, ou micronizado, para produzir o aditivo redutor de atrito com um diâmetro reduzido capaz de reduzir o coeficiente de atrito, usado para anti-névoa ou como um substituto para talco numa variedade de aplicações.
