Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA MELHORAR A MACIEZ E/OU O RENDIMENTO DE ÁREA DE COURO". A invenção refere-se às melhorias no processamento de peles de animais para formar couro e resulta em qualidade de couro melhorada, em termos de maciez, e rendimento de área notavelmente aumentado. De acordo com a presente invenção é proporcionado um processo para melhorar o rendimento de área e/ou a maciez de couro que compreende o tratamento de peles curtidas ao cromo (III) ou aldeído com uma composição de enzima que é uma mistura de pelo menos uma protease e pelo menos uma elastase. A invenção aplica-se particularmente, embora não exclusivamente, à produção de couro de vestuário e de couro de estofamento.
