Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA REALIZAR ANULOPLASTIA, E, SISTEMAS PARA USO EM UM PROCEDIMENTO DE ANULOPLASTIA E PARA REALIZAR ANULOPLASTIA SOBRE UMA VÁLVULA MITRAL DE UM CORAÇÃO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método minimamente invasivo de realizar anuloplastia. De acordo com um aspecto da presente invenção, um método de realizar anuloplastia inclui acessar um ventrículo esquerdo de um coração para prover um elemento de plicatura discreto (905) ao ventrículo esquerdo, e encaixar o elemento de plicatura ao tecido próximo a uma válvula mitral (916) do coração. Encaixar o elemento de plicatura (905) inclui fazer com que o elemento de plicatura reúna uma porção do tecido para criar uma plicatura. Em um modo de realização, o acesso do ventrículo esquerdo do coração para prover o elemento de plicatura (905) inclui acessar o ventrículo esquerdo do coração usando um arranjo de cateter.
