Abstract

"LIGA DE ALUMÍNIO COM RESISTÊNCIA A CORROSÃO INTERGRANULAR, MÉTODOS DE FABRICAÇÃO E SEU USO". A invenção refere-se a uma liga de alumínio resistente a corrosão possui montantes controlados de ferro, manganês, cromo, e titânio juntamente com níveis de cobre, silício, níquel e não mais que níveis de impureza de zinco. A química da liga é ajustada de forma que o potencial eletrolítico dos contornos de grão se iguala ao do material da matriz da liga para reduzir a corrosão intergranular. A liga é particularmente adequada para a fabricação de tubos para trocadores de calor usando técnicas de extrusão e de soldagem forte.
