Abstract

"HIDANTÔNIOS E SUA UTILIZAÇÃO NO TRATAMENTO DO DIABETES". A invenção se refere aos compostos derivados do 2-tiohidantônio escolhidos entre os compostos de fórmula geral (I): tal como definido nas reivindicações, e seus sais de adição com um ácido, notadamente os sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis. Ela se refere igualmente a seu procedimento de preparação, as composições farmacêuticas os contendo, e sua utilização enquanto substância farmacologicamente ativa, notadamente no caso do tratamento do diabetes, das doenças devidas a uma hiperglicemia, às hipertrigliceridemias, às dislipidemias ou à obesidade.
