Abstract
"PRODUTOS DE AMIDO HIDROFOBICAMENTE ESTERIFICADOS E PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DOS MESMOS". Um amido hidrofobicamente esterificado, é divulgado, tendo a fórmula geral: em que R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ são cadeias alifáticas não-saturadas ou saturadas separadamente lineares ou ramificadas tendo de 1 a 22 carbonos. Também divulgado é o processo para a preparar tal amido hidrofobicamente esterificado. O processo pode ser enzimático, em que uma enzima é empregada como um catalisador para a reação. O processo pode também ser químico, em que nenhuma enzima é empregada.
