Abstract
"REENTRÂNCIAS EM UMA SUPERFÍCIE". A presente invenção refere-se a estruturas na superfície de corpos para reduzir o arraste em relação a um meio no qual o corpo está localizado ou próximo a. As estruturas compreendem uma pluralidade de cavidades (1, 20, 40, 60). A superfície na qual as cavidades são formadas é fechada. A cavidade apresenta uma borda de ruptura (5, 25, 44 ,66) adjacente à cavidade, com a borda de ruptura localizada a montante da cavidade, de maneira tal a colocar o meio que flui mais próximo à superfície em turbulência ao passar pela borda de ruptura. A cavidade apresenta uma profundidade máxima a partir da superfície de pelo menos aproximadamente 2 mm.
