Abstract
"SISTEMA DE REAÇÃO ADEQUADO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE MOLDES EXPANDIDOS PELO PROCESSO RIM, E, ARTIGO DE ESPUMA MOLDADO POR LD-S-RIM REFORÇADO POR ESTEIRA". São providos artigos moldados espumados, produzidos por moldagem por injeção de reação (RIM). Os artigos moldados são formados por reação de um componente de poliisocianato com um componente reativo de isocianato, usando-se um agente de intumescimento. Os artigos moldados são preferivelmente compósitos, formados na presença de um material de reforço fibroso. Os artigos espumados são caracterizados por tempos de permanência em molde mínimos relativamente curtos e podem, desse modo, ser produzidos mais economicamente do que os compósitos da arte anterior. Os artigos espumados são ainda caracterizados por uma redução dos defeitos físicos, tais como fendas e vazios.
