Abstract
"SISTEMA E MÉTODOS DE PROCESSAMENTOS MANUAIS PARA O FORNECIMENTO DE COMPONENTES DO SANGUE ACONDICIONADOS PARA DESATIVAÇÃO DE PATÓGENOS". A presente invenção refere-se aos sistemas e métodos para processar manualmente o sangue e os componentes do sangue em ambientes estéreis, fechados, os quais condicionam adicionalmente os componentes do sangue para os processos de desativação de patógenos subseqüentes. Os sistemas e métodos casam o coletamento manual de unidades de plaquetas de doadores randômicos com a criação de doses de plaquetas terapêuticas maiores determinadas para sofrerem uma desativação de patógenos antes de um armazenamento e/ou transfusão de longo prazo.
