Compreendendo um rotor (20) em material não-metálico de reduzida espessura axial e de grande diâmetro, montado sobre um eixo (10) e provido de alojamentos (21) nos quais são alojadas bobinas (30), dito rotor (20) sendo radialmente envolvido por uma estrutura de estator não metálica, fixando blindagens metálicas para respectivos campos magnéticos (50) definidos por imãs permanentes ou eletroímãs.
