A presente invenção refere-se a polímeros sintéticos que apresentam destacada estabilidade contra a decomposição oxidativa, térmica ou induzida pela luz, compreendendo como estabilizador pelo menos um composto de fórmula (1): em que: - R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ SãO independentemente entre si, hidrogênio ou C~ 1~-C~ 8~ alquila, - R~ 3~ e R~ 4~ SãO independentemente entre si, C~ 1~-C~ 12~ alquila; e - R~ 5~ é C~ 1~-C~ 7~ alquila.
