Processo para a produção de um artigo contatado com um agente de ligação que é preparado proporcionando uma mistura que inclui um látex e um poliol presente em uma quantidade menor que 20% em peso da mistura para ser proporcionada a funcionalidade hidroxila. O isocianato é misturado com a mistura látex/poliol para formar o agente de ligação. Uma camada do agente de ligação é colocada em contato com um substrato.
