Abstract

"ELEMENTO DE ACOPLAMENTO MACHO COM ORIFÍCIOS DE FLUXO APERFEIÇOADOS". Um elemento de acoplamento hidráulico submarino é descrito possuindo orifícios de fluxo com superfície côncava nas extremidades voltadas para fora da mesma. As superfícies côncavas breve e temporariamente desengatam as vedações radiais durante o engate ou desengate dos elementos de acoplamento macho e fêmea, desse modo reduzindo o desgaste e dano a vedações radiais entre os elementos de acoplamento, e permitindo a água do mar capturado sair ou entrar na câmara de recepção.
