Abstract
"COMPLEXOS DE SN-38 COM LIPÍDEOS E SEUS USOS NO TRATAMENTO DE DOENÇAS". A presente invenção se refere a novas composições e processos para tratamento de doenças causadas por proliferação celular, especificamente, para tratamento de câncer em mamíferos e mais especificamente em seres humanos. As composições terapêuticas da presente invenção incluem complexos de lipídeo SNp-38, nos quais os complexos podem conter qualquer de uma variedade de lipídeos neutros ou carregados e, desejavelmente, cardiolipina. As composições são capazes de incorporar, eficazmente, SN-38 aos complexos e são capazes de solubilizar em concentrações relativamente altas de SN-38.
