Abstract
"DISPOSITIVOS DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO DE DROGAS TRANSDÉRMICAS POSSUINDO MICROPROTUBERÂNCIAS REVESTIDAS". Um dispositivo (12) e método são fornecidos para a distribuição transdérmica percutânea de um agente farmacologicamente ativo potente. O agente é dissolvido em água para formar uma solução de revestimento aquosa possuindo uma viscosidade adequada para revestir elementos de perfuração de pele extremamente pequenos (10). A solução de revestimento é aplicada aos elementos de perfuração de pele (10) utilizando-se técnicas de revestimento conhecidas e então secas. O dispositivo (12) é aplicado na pele de uma animal vivo (por exemplo, um ser humano), causando as microprotuberâncias (10) para penetrar o extrato córneo e distribuir uma dose terapeuticamente eficaz do agente ao animal.
