Uma caixa para embalagem e uma matriz para formar uma caixa para embalagem para conter uma pluralidade de artigos, por exemplo, garrafas, compreendendo um esteio de canto tubular dobrável (70a, 70b, 70c, 70d) formado de uma extensão de uma parede lateral de caixa para embalagem (12, 16). O esteio de canto é adaptado para se mover de uma condição desdobrada plana quando estendendo-se para fora da caixa para embalagem para ser automaticamente montada pelo dobramento do esteio de canto para dentro.
