São fornecidos os compostos das fórmulas (I) em que Y, R^ 1^, R^ 2^, R^ 3^ e D^ 1^ E D^ 2^ têm os significados dados nas descrições que são úteis como inibidores competitivos de proteases tipo tripsina, ou como pró-medicamentos destes, tais como a trombina e em particular no tratamento de condições onde os inibidores de trombina são requeridos (por exemplo, na trombose) ou como anticoagulantes.
