Abstract
"COMPOSTO, USO DO COMPOSTO, COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA E MÉTODO DE TRATAMENTO DO MAL DE ALZHEIMER". A presente invenção refere-se a novas lactamas que possuem a fórmula (1); suas composições farmacêuticas e seus métodos de utilização. Estes novos compostos inibem o processamento de proteínas precursoras de amilóides e, mais especificamente, inibem a produção do A -peptídeo, de forma a agirem para evitar a formação de depósitos neurológicos de proteínas de amilóide. Mais especificamente, a presente invenção refere-se ao tratamento de disfunções neurológicas relativas à produção de -amilóide, tais como o mal de Aizheimer e a Sindrome de Down.
