Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE UM REVESTIMENTO DE BARREIRA, E COMPOSIÇÃO DE REVESTIMENTO DE BARREIRA". Um processo para tratar uma superfície de um substrato para melhorar as propriedades de barreira contra gases de oxigênio, dióxido de carbono, sabores e odores do substrato com um ácido orgânico que tem pelo menos dois ácidos substituintes selecionado a partir do grupo que consiste em um ácido carboxílico polibásico, um polímero de um ácido carboxílico insaturado e um copolímero de um ácido carboxílico insaturado, mediante aplicação do ácido ao substrato para formar uma camada, e exposição da camada à umidade. Podem ser incluídos diversos outros tipos de aditivos no revestimento aplicado ao substrato com o ácido incluindo compostos da fórmula R~ a~X~ 3-a~Si (CH~ 2~) ~ n~Y, um catalisador de condensação, um solvente e/ou uma carga de enchimento.
