Abstract
"APARELHO MECÂNICO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE AZIA E DOENÇA DO REFLUXO". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho para o tratamento de azia e doença do refluxo para implante cirúrgico no abdome de um paciente, compreendendo um dispositivo restritor ajustável (2) adaptado para fixar o estômago próximo à cárdia ou esôfago de maneira a formar uma passagem de alimento restrita no estômago ou esôfago do paciente. Um dispositivo de ajuste pós-operatório (12) é desenhado para ajustar mecanicamente o dispositivo restritor, preferivelmente de forma não invasiva, de maneira a aumentar ou restringir a passagem de alimento. O aparelho permite ajustes pós-operatórios diários do dispositivo restritor para a aumentar a passagem de alimento quando o paciente se alimenta e restringir ou fechar a passagem de alimento entre as refeições.
