Abstract
"POLISSILOXANOS PARA HIDROFOBIZAÇÃO". Os novos polissiloxanos, que contêm grupos cianouréia e estão caracterizados pelo fato de que a cadeia de polissiloxano contém pelo menos uma unidade estrutural da fórmula [Br~ b~Si~ (3-b)/2~]~ m~ (1) e, opcionalmente, pelo menos uma unidade estrutural da fórmula [AR~ a~SiO~ (3-a)/2~]~ k~ (2) e/ou pelo menos uma unidade estrutural da fórmula [R~ c~SiO~ (4-c)/2~]~ n~ (3) e, opcionalmente, pelo menos um grupo terminal escolhido das fórmulas R~ 3~SiO~ 1/2~ (4a); BR~ 2~SiO~ 1/2~ (4b); e AR~ 2~SiO~ 1/2~ (4c), sendo que A, B, R, a, b, c, k, m e n têm o significado indicado na descrição, são especialmente bem apropriados para a hidrofobização de substratos, tal como papel, têxteis, couros e peles.
