Abstract
"MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA INDICAR AS CONDIÇÕES EM UM ARTIGO ABSORVENTE". São revelados um método e aparelho (20) para medir os níveis de pH no interior de artigos como fraldas (12), artigos para incontinência, chumaços, produtos para menstruação, roupas de cama e curativos para ferimentos. Os método e aparelho incluem dispositivos sensores (16, 29, 37, 41) e sistemas de relé (38, 47) para exibir o pH no exterior dos artigos que fornecem alertas visuais e/ou audíveis de que níveis prejudiciais de bactérias e compostos estão se acumulando no artigo absorvente e que o artigo deve ser retirado e substituído.
