Incluindo o assento, sendo composto de uma folha de papel, espuma, plástico ou outro material adequado, acondicionado num pequeno invólucro de fácil transportabilidade, dotado de um formato genérico, circular, quadrado, hexagonal etc., contendo um orifício central ovalado, sendo que se dispõe o protetor sobre o vaso ou mesmo sobre o assento sanitário, de modo a servir como uma proteção evitando o contato direto deste com o usuário.
