"MANCAL VEDANTE". (MI), para ser utilizado e montado sobre eixos (E), em material rodante do tipo de tração, locomotivas, automotrizes, ou rebocados, como vagões, que compreende nichos circulares (N) nas suas extremidades internas, a fim de abrigarem selos (S) de vedação a óleo (L) de lubrificação existente num recinto (T), em forma de película (P), tais selos podendo ser em número de um ou mais em cada extremidade do mancal (MI), tal vedação protegendo tanto o mancal, quanto o eixo, contra desgaste, e ainda também o óleo (L), contra deterioração de sua pureza.
