Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE ORGANOSSILILALQUILPOLISSULFANOS". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de organossililalquilpolissulfanos de fórmula geral I (R^ 1^R^ 2^R^ 3^SiR^ 4^)~ 2~S~ x~ (I) através de reação de organossililalquilpolissulfanos de fórmula geral II (R^ 1^R^ 2^R^ 3^SiR^ 4^)~ 2~S~ y~(II) com um sulfeto iônico de fórmula geral M^ +^~ 2~S^ 2-^(III) e um haleto de organossililalquila de fórmula geral R^ 1^R^ 2^R^ 3^SiR^ 4^X (IV), sendo o organossililalquilpolissulfano de cadeia longa de fórmula geral (II) e o haleto de organossililalquila de fórmula geral (IV) inicialmente introduzidos no vaso de reação e sendo o sulfeto iônico de fórmula geral (III) adicionado a essa solução em diversas porções.
