Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "UTILIZAÇÃO DE UMA LIGA CUPRONÍQUEL". Para a fabricação de recipientes que recebem massas fundidas, por exemplo, cadinhos para instalações de fundição e de refino é necessário um material que apresenta além de propriedades termomecânicas favoráveis uma excelente soldabilidade. Segundo a invenção, para esta utilização é proposta uma liga de cobre em estado não endurecido que consiste em 0,2 a 1,5 % de níquel, 0,002 a 0,12 % de pelo menos um elemento do grupo que abrange fósforo, alumínio, manganês, lítio, cálcio, silício e boro, vestígios de cobre inclusive impurezas condicionadas pela fabricação. Para o aumento planejado da resistência, a liga de cobre pode conter ainda até 0,3% de zircônio.
