Abstract
"ARTIGO REVESTIDO COM REVESTIMENTO ANTICORROSÃO ENCAPSULADO E MÉTODO PARA PROVER O REVESTIMENTO". um revestimento para um artigo inclui micro-esferas encapsuladas de revestimento que mantêm o revestimento em um estado fluido. As micro-esferas encapsuladas de revestimento são retidas no revestimento para formar uma matriz de revestimento endurecido e de micro-esferas encapsuladas de revestimento. Dano ao revestimento forma uma fissura que rompe abertas as micro-esferas encapsuladas de revestimento adjacentes à fissura. As micro-esferas encapsuladas de revestimento rompidas liberam o material de revestimento fluido contido nelas. Devido às micro-esferas encapsuladas de revestimento liberarem o material de revestimento encapsulado no estado fluido o material de revestimento escoa para dentro da fissura para revestir o substrato exposto. Isto provê uma habilidade de "auto-remediação" ao revestimento que protege o substrato mesmo após o revestimento ser danificado.
