"SISTEMA DE FIXAÇÃO VERTEBRAL". A presente invenção é constituída por barras longitudinais, que podem ser metálicas ou plásticas deformáveis em forma permanente. Uma variante possui memória elástica que as faz recuperar a forma inicial desejada pela passagem do tempo ou por mecanismos físicos como calor, radiação, radiofrequência, campos elétricos, eletricidade, etc. ou por meio da aplicação de substâncias químicas, para assim melhorar posteriormente a correção da deformidade de coluna obtida durante a cirurgia.
