A invenção refere-se a uma fita de prensa de sapata (1), para uso em prensas de sapata de um máquina de papel, com um suporte (2) e uma camada de fita (3, 5) impermeável a líquido, que apresenta uma camada interna (3) e uma camada externa (5), sendo que a camada externa (5) tem uma estrutura porosa e a estrutura porosa está formada, exclusivamente, por dois espaços ocos (8, 12, 14) abertos no lado externo, e está caracterizada pelo fato de que a camada externa (8, 112, 14) consiste em um material não espumado.
