Um acoplamento hidráulico submarino tendo uma válvula tubular com um atuador se estendendo da válvula, e um guia entre o atuador e o furo. o guia é um elemento em forma de luva em torno do atuador com passagens de fluxo, que garantem um fluxo uniforme de fluido hidráulico pelo anel tubular entre o furo do acoplamento e o atuador. o guia também ajuda a evitar dano ao atuador e alinha o atuador durante as conexões, desconexões e uso.
