Abstract
"MÉTODO DE ALOCAR RECURSOS EM UMA REDE DE TELECOMUNICAÇÕES DE GERAÇÃO FUTURA OU DE TERCEIRA GERAÇÃO". No UMTS, a reserva de recursos é fornecida pelas mensagens de contexto do Protocolo de Reserva de Recursos dentro e fora das mensagens de Protocolo de Dados por Pacote, sendo o processamento executado pela interface de tradução (31) de um terminal móvel (30) que tem um equipamento terminal (32) associado, o equipamento terminal pode então não estar ciente do GPRS/UMTS. As mensagens de RSVP são mapeadas entre o terminal móvel (30) e o nó de suporte Gateway (26) e são regeneradas conforme apropriado.
