Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "AGENTE DE DESSULFURIZAÇÃO DE MAGNÉSIO". Um método e composição para remover enxofre de material ferroso fundido, particularmente ferro gusa fundido. O agente de dessulfurilação inclui uma partícula de magnésio revestida com um composto absorvente de calor. O composto absorvente de calor absorve calor em torno da partícula de magnésio para reduzir a taxa em que a partícula de magnésio evapora no ferro fundido. O tamanho de partícula da partícula de magnésio é pelo menos cerca de duas vezes o tamanho de partícula do composto absorvente de calor. Um agente aglutinante pode ser usado para aglutinar as partículas do composto absorvente de calor à partícula de magnésio.
