Abstract

"CAIXA DE EMBALAGEM, E, MATRIZ PARA FORMAR UMA CAIXA DE EMBALAGEM". Uma estrutura de fechamento terminal para uma estrutura tubular tem linhas de junção com abas de fechamento que são dispostas para minimizar a área deformável de uma parede terminal pela criação de uma estrutura justa menos propícia a abaular ou envergar. O comprimento dos painéis de topo (22) e de fundo (26) é menor do que o comprimento dos painéis laterais (24). Os painéis laterais terminam em linhas enfraquecidas de junção (55) que são arqueadas em direção às abas laterais adjacentes (25). Painéis de transição em forma de amêndoa (60) facilitam adicionalmente um fechamento terminal vedado, seguro que não é facilmente deformável pelo abaulamento ou envergamento.
