Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA DIMINUIR A MOTILIDADE DE UMA CÉLULA EXPRESSANDO INTEGRINA, MÉTODO PARA INIBIR A ADESÃO DE CÉLULAS EXPRESSANDO INTEGRINA, DESINTEGRINA HOMODIMÉRICA E COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEITÁVEL". A presente invenção se refere à contortrostatina, uma desintegrina homodimérica, que modula a adesão, a motilidade e a capacidade de invasão das células tumorais que expressam integrina. Quando formuladas como uma composição farmaceuticamente aceitável, as proteínas podem ser usadas para tratar pacientes ao inibir ou interromper os processos mórbidos associados com uma ligação da integrina a uma integrina v 3 ou v 5.
