Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA AUMENTAR A PERMEABILIDADE DA PELE OU DO TECIDO MUCOSO A AGENTES FARMACEUTICAMENTE OU COSMETICAMENTE ATIVOS ADMINISTRADOS POR VIA TÓPICA OU TRANSDÉRMICA". É fornecido um método para aumentar a permeabilidade da pele ou do tecido mucoso a agentes farmaceuticamente ou cosmeticamente ativos administrados por via tópica ou transdérmica. O método envolve o uso de uma quantidade específica de um agente de liberação de hidróxido, a quantidade é otimizada para aumentar o fluxo do agente ativo através da uma superfície corpórea enquanto minimiza a probabilidade de dano, irritação ou sensibilidade à pele. São também fornecidos formulações aplicadas topicamente e dispositivos de liberação de droga que empregam agentes de liberação de hidróxido como aperfeiçoadores de permeação.
