"COMPOSTOS OU SUAS COMBINAÇÕES QUE TEM ATIVIDADE INIBIDORA DA RECAPTAÇÃO DA SEROTONINA E DE UM ANTAGONISTA, AGONISTA INVERSO OU AGONISTA PARCIAL DE 5-HT~ 2C~; UTILIZAÇÃO DOS MESMOS; COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA E MÉTODO". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de compostos e composições de compostos que têm atividade inibidora da recaptação da serotonina e atividade antagonista, agonista parcial ou agonista inversa de 5-HT~ 2C~ para o tratamento da depressão e outros distúrbios afetivos. O efeito inibidor da recaptação da serotonina combinado com o efeito antagonista, agonista parcial ou agonista inverso de 5-HT~ 2C~ pode residir dentro do mesmo composto químico ou em dois compostos químicos diferentes.
