Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR CLORETOS DE O-CLOROMETIL BENZOÍLA". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de cloretos de o-clorometil benzoíla da Fórmula (I) na qual R^ 1^ - R^ 4^ podem ser iguais ou diferentes e representar hidrogênio, alquila C~ 1-C~ 4~, halogênio ou trifluorometila, pela conversão de lactonas benzocondensadas da Fórmula (II) na qual R^ 1^ - R^ 4^ possuem o significado precedentemente mencionado, com cloreto de tionila, caracterizado pelo fato de que a conversão é executada na presença de quantidades catalíticas de um ácido de Lewis e de quantidades catalíticas de um derivado de fosfina.
