Abstract
"PILHA DE CÉLULAS DE COMBUSTÍVEL DE MEMBRANA POLIMÉRICA". A invenção refere-se a um projeto aperfeiçoado de uma pilha de células de combustível de membrana polimérica alimentadas por gás é aqui descrito. A pilha está equipada com um dispositivo de umidificação que se aproveita da atomização de uma corrente do água sobre um material metálico de alta superfície específica, e com um circuito de resfriamento que retira o calor gerado nelas por troca térmica em uma região periférica, externa à área ativa da célula única. O dispositivo está particularmente adequado para operação em alta temperatura e alta densidade de corrente.
