Abstract
"FIBRAS AGLUTINANTES BICOMPONENTES". Uma fibra aglutinante hidrofílica. Essas fibras podem ser produzidas mediante a co-fiação de um núcleo de material poliolefina e um revestimento de material de mistura poliéster alifática molhável. A mistura poliéster alifática altamente molhável compreende uma mistura não reagida de um polímero de poliéster alifático selecionado a partir do grupo consistindo de um polímero de succinato de polibutileno, um polímero de succinato-co-adipato de polibutileno, um polímero de policaprolactona, uma mistura de tais polímeros, ou um copolímero de tais polímeros; um ácido multicarboxílico; e um agente de molhabilidade. A fibra aglutinante hidrofílica apresenta propriedades biodegradáveis substancialmente aprimoradas além de ser facilmente processada. A fibra aglutinante hidrofílica pode ser usada em um produto absorvente descartável pretendido para a absorção de fluidos, tais como os fluidos corpóreos.
