Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA CONTROLAR A DEGRADAÇÃO DA RESISTÊNCIA EM FIOS ELÁSTICOS". A presente invenção está direcionada para o controle da degradação da resistência em fio elástico mediante o controle da exposição do fio à água ou ao vapor d'água. Um método representativo possuindo as características da presente invenção inclui as etapas de: prover o fio elástico, o fio elástico tendo sido produzido através das etapas compreendendo extrusão, fiação, ou de outro modo de produzir o fio; e controlando a exposição do fio à água ou ao vapor d'água de modo que a resistência do fio não se degrada significativamente antes do fio ser usado como uma matéria-prima em uma máquina de produção.
